I want to especially thank all of the designers in this issue, some of whom have already designed wonderful patterns for Popknits in our previous issue. You were all great to work with! Big thanks also to my friends who have helped out this issue with editing and moral support. You are all the best!
Site Improvements
I’m pleased to show off the new homepage design as well as a few other features. The site has been always run well on Firefox, Safari, and IE, but the CSS and code have now been updated to accommodate IE6 users as well. Users should also take note of the tags added to each pattern page. Each of the tags is a link that will show you other patterns that share the same tag. Included in the tags of every pattern are gauge and yarn weight tags which will make it easier to search our patterns and match them to your yarn of choice. If you use the advanced search, you’ll find results by tag as well below the regular search results. Hopefully these improvements will make Popknits easier for all to use!

Slots are still open for the Winter Issue. Even though the issue is live, you can still get in on the action and advertise with us today! The holidays are fast approaching and if you have an online fiber, handmade goods, or etsy store, consider advertising with us to bring added traffic to your business.
